Construction began in Fall 2023 on a 70-unit building that will offer a mix of studio to four-bedroom apartments, designed to accommodate individuals and families at all stages of life. The building is being constructed to Step Code Level 3 using Passive House methodologies, enabling it to achieve exceptional energy efficiency and environmental performance.

Construction will complete in 2026 with occupancy anticipated in summer 2026.

This is a new residential development in Saanich and part of a broader Master Plan strategy led by BC Housing. In collaboration with the Greater Victoria Housing Society (GVHS), the Garth Homer Foundation, Island Community Mental Health, and Broadmead Care Society, the project supports the revitalization of the Nigel Valley.
