New Projects Housing
Townley Place is our first redevelopment project. We are replacing a 50 year old building with a modern 54 unit apartment building for seniors and 10 family townhouses.
We have begun the excavation of a 40 unit affordable rental building at 7247 West Saanich Road. We are responding to a well documented need for such housing and were lucky enough to find an excellent site just north of Brentwood Village.
Pacific Centre Family Services Association subdivided their new property at 324 Goldstream to create a lot for us to build a 102 unit affordable rental housing project.
Nigel Valley is our next redevelopment project in Saanich. Along with GVHS, BC Housing, The Garth Homer Foundation, Island Community Mental Health, and Broadmead Care Society are helping to revitalize the Nigel Valley. Our building will be approximately 70 units ranging from studios to 4-bedroom apartments.
Forest Heights is a 3-storey 19-unit building located at 2558 Quadra Street in the heart of Quadra Village. GVHS has preliminary plans to redevelop the site into a 5-storey 40-unit mixed-use affordable rental building that will house the future GVHS Offices on the ground floor.
Colwood Lodge is a 4-storey 50-unit building located at 85 Belmont Road, settled directly behind the current redevelopment of the Colwood Corners property. GVHS has preliminary plans to redevelop the site into a 6-storey 139-unit affordable rental building.
Esquimalt Lions Lodge is a 4-storey 77-unit building located at 874 Fleming Street, settled within the Esquimalt neighbourhood located near a high school and many employment opportunities. GVHS has preliminary plans to redevelop the site into a 6-storey 137-unit affordable rental building built over 2 phases.
